What Will Children Learn in the Islamic Education for Kids Course?

Our Islamic Education for Kids Course is designed to give young learners a strong and well-rounded foundation in the essential teachings of Islam. Children will gradually learn and understand the fundamentals that every Muslim should know and practice in daily life.

Basic Beliefs (Aqaa’id)
In this course, children will learn the core tenets of Islam, belief in Allah, the angels, divine scriptures, the prophets, and the Day of Judgment, Qiyamah.

The Five Pillars of Islam: Students will be introduced to the central pillars of Islam: Shahadah, or declaration of faith; performing Salah; fasting during Ramadan; giving Zakat; and Hajj, pilgrimage.

Faith (Iman): Children will learn the concept of Iman by understanding Iman-e-Mufassil and Iman-e-Mujmal, which would prepare a sound basis of belief in them.

Purification (Taharah): They will learn how to perform Wudhu correctly, when and how to perform Ghusl, and why maintaining purity and cleanliness is an important part of Islamic life.

Salah Training (Prayer): The course provides step-by-step guidance on the importance of Salah; the names and timings of the five daily prayers; Azaan; and the different types of prayers, such as Fard, Wajib, Sunnah, and Nafl. Children will learn how to perform Jumu’ah, Eid, and Funeral prayers.

Daily Du’as: Students will memorise and understand different daily supplications, including du’as for increasing knowledge, entering the home, drinking milk, after sneezing, and many others, in everyday situations.

Hadith Study: The children will memorise and study forty well-known Ahadith that have been learned from life skills and values.

Memorisation: They will memorise the last twenty Surahs of the Quran, the Six Kalimas, Ayat-ul-Kursi, Dua-e-Qunoot, the Islamic months, and other essential parts of Islamic learning.

Manners & Etiquettes (Akhlaq): It covers etiquette in Islam on how one eats, drinks, sleeps, is grateful, and how to go about one’s daily life, even the etiquette when sneezing.

Good & Bad Deeds
They will learn the value of good acts, the blessings brought about by being truthful, and the need to avoid lying, along with other bad deeds
